Waiheke Resources Trust (WRT) is a professional not-for-profit organisation that has been serving the Waiheke community since 1998.
Our sustainability center is designed to promote sustainable living and community involvement. We offer a variety of resources and services that support a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle on the island. Moreover, our center serves as a hub for numerous community groups dedicated to building community capacity and protecting and restoring our natural environment. It provides a unique and welcoming space where people can collaborate and connect with the Waiheke community.
We have regular events such as community cooking & lunch on every Friday and our WRT Bike Hub is open Thursdays - Sundays.
The centre is also available to hire at a very reasonable price including a kitchen, large screen and other equipment for workshops, events, meetings etc.

Our two national award exhibitions (Walker & Hall Waiheke Art Award for 2D work, and the Small Sculpture Prize for 3D small works) attract entries from all over New Zealand. We have a wonderful Gallery shop that features high-quality Waiheke ceramics, jewelry and handcrafted artworks from around New Zealand.
