Perched on the hillside above Oneroa, Obee’s is all about fresh, flavour-packed New Zealand seafood served with some of the best views on the island. Open 7 days from 9am–5pm, plus Friday and Saturday evenings from 5pm until late, it’s the perfect all-day spot for brunch, lunch, or a relaxed coastal dinner.
At Obee’s, the menu celebrates the very best of Aotearoa’s oceans — think juicy mussels, pāua, oysters, locally caught snapper, and even sweet island crayfish. Everything is fresh, simple, and designed to showcase the true flavour of the sea. If you’re a seafood lover (or travelling with one), you’ll feel right at home here.
With sweeping views across the Hauraki Gulf, guests can choose to bask in the sunshine, unwind in shaded gazebos, or enjoy the evening glow during dinner service. Alongside the seafood, you’ll find brunch favourites, generous platters, crisp beers, local wines, and a warm island atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile.
Whether you’re popping in after a morning swim, meeting friends for long lunch, or settling in for a sunset dinner, Obee’s delivers honest food, friendly service, and a true taste of Waiheke.
